No. You only need access to the internet.

If you’re connecting from work, check if there is a firewall or other restrictions that might prevent you from connecting to websites or logging into virtual sessions/areas. If so, you may need to request permission from a system administrator.

The preferred browsers for our platforms are Google Chrome and Firefox.

We recommend an internet speed of at least 6Mbps (megabits per second) download and 2Mbps upload. You can test your internet speed here.

No, unless you are speaking at one of the sessions.

All sessions will be available on-demand.

The Interactive Programme will display a “View Recording” button for each session within 24 hours after the live session has taken place.

You can ‘zoom out’ on your web browser to see the full room view.

If you have problems with your Internet connection:

You can check your system functionality here. You can also check the following:

  • Confirm that you have internet access (make sure the Wi-Fi on your computer is turned on or that your network cables are connected to the router).
  • Reset your modem/router.
  • Clear your DNS cache
  • Check your antivirus software.

Check your internet speed here.

  • If you are seeing a blank screen when trying to view a session, try clicking the ‘refresh’ button.
  • Open the link in another browser. We recommend Google Chrome or Firefox.
  • Close all programs and pages that you are not using.
  • Open your computer’s Task Manager by pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL, and check for any programs that are ‘Not responding’. If you find one, select it and then click ‘End Task’.
  • Restart your computer.

Check your volume controls. There will be a separate volume control on your computer, and another on the platform itself. Check that both are turned up.

If you are using external speakers or a headset, make sure they are properly connected.
